Day 1 to 3:
Clean the pigmented area with water 3 times a day with a wet cloth and dry them afterwards with a dry wipe.
Apply a very small amount of the ointment provided by the technician to keep the area hydrated on the 2nd day only for 3-4 days (we do not want to see a shine effect on your eyebrows). Too much ointment can bring out the pigment outside the skin.
Scabs can form on day 4-7, let them fall off on their own, normally they fall off within 48-72 hours. If you pull them off, the pigment will come out with it and can create a non-pigmented “spot” after the healing process.
Keep your lip hydrated at all times with the ointment given by the technician, Polysporin, Vaseline or moisturizer without menthol. (with an applicator or a clean finger).
Scabs can form on the 2nd or 3rd day, let them fall off on their own, normally they fall off in 24 hours. If you pull them off, the pigment will come out with it and can create a non-pigmented “spot” after healing.
If you are used to wearing eyelash extensions, you will have to wait 21 days after the treatment before your next lash extension’s appointment.
Sleep at a 45 degree angle the first night to decrease swelling
Immediately after the procedure, the treated area will appear red and swollen. The pigment may also appear darker and more intense than the final color. The shape is also thicker than desired.
The eyebrows are now thick and even darker. The swelling and redness will begin to subside.
Your brows will become dry and small crusts will form due to the excess pigment being pushed to the surfacewith your natural skin cell renewal. Let the pigment fall off by itself to avoid uneven pigmentation.
The pigmentation fades and can even fade completely as the working white blopd cells (healing celles) cover the pigmentation.
The pigment starts to come back but it is not the final color. Your brows will have better retention after your touch-up (6-8 weeks following the initial appointment).
Brow perfection! Your brows will need to be touched up every year to maintain the desired look.
THE HEALING PROCESS MAY VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER, AS EVERYONE’S SKIN HEAKS AT DIFFERENT RATE
